The Bible is the story of God’s global mission. Our God created our world and humanity to live in it. But humans have wilfully wandered, bringing brokenness to themselves and our world. And God will not turn a blind eye to all of our sins.
But neither does he have a hard heart toward us. God has revealed himself climatically in Jesus Christ, who has taken the curse of God’s justice upon himself, so that all peoples might find forgiveness and freedom in him, the blessing for which God created the earth.
And it is the church’s job to tell this news not just to lots of people, but to all the peoples of the earth. That is God’s passion. That is the mission that Jesus left the church.
Being a follower of Jesus is so much more than believing the right things. It is an invitation to live beautifully. Not a wimpy, sentimental beauty. But an extravagant, layered and transformative beauty. Like the cross. Beauty is key to a robust and refreshing faith in Jesus.
In both worship and witness, we are equipping artists and arts facilitators to bring beauty that is both Biblically sound and locally relevant.
Having helped pioneer arts ministry in OM, we are thrilled to lead the team that is growing a global alliance of artists, committed to bringing beauty to the life of the church, especially in places where followers of Jesus are rare.

We serve in an administrative support ministry at the home office of Ethnos360 (Ethnos Canada is our partner in Canada), providing services to missionaries involved in church planting among unreached people groups around the world.

My name is Angie Smith. I am the TeenStreet Coordinator for Operation Mobilization Canada. TeenStreet is the youth discipleship movement of Operation Mobilization; it is a movement of young Jesus followers committed to journeying together to share God's love with those who don't yet know it.
In that role, I have the amazing privilege of coming alongside the local church to support the youth pastors, volunteers, and student leaders through training, resourcing, hosting events, and facilitating short-term mission trips for students and small group leaders. Though I am currently based in Quebec, this role often has me travelling throughout Canada and occasionally globally.
My general role is that of a coordinator, a day to day administrator running a weekly Food bank. The territory served includes all cities and villages from: Ile Perrot to Les Cedres, as these areas do not have a proper designated food bank.
We create and give out approx. 140 Food boxes weekly, we are the only Food bank in our area to do so. We believe in meeting the food needs of people on a weekly basis. We also strongly believe that we are called to do so “in Jesus name”.
Our Food bank operates every Thursday, we begin with our ‘coffee ministry’ at 12 noon, where we give out coffee, tea, snacks and connect with anyone that would like to talk to us about anything on their minds. All the while awaiting the actual opening of the Food bank at 12:30pm, here we follow giving a “cup of water in Jesus name”. At 12:30pm people are able to go downstairs and get their food boxes, where there are further connections made by our team of loving volunteers.
